About the Event:
Now in its 19th year, the Women@Wentworth Annual Networking Breakfast is the university’s signature gathering dedicated to championing and elevating women across the Wentworth community. Each year, the event convenes a powerful cross-section of students, alumnae, faculty, staff, trustees, industry innovators, and corporate partners for a dynamic forum centered on dialogue, mentorship, and collaboration. Through shared experiences, meaningful connections, and stories of leadership in action, the breakfast inspires participants to envision what’s possible.
This year’s theme, Women in AI and the Future of Work, reflects a timely and critical conversation. With Wentworth’s recent launch of a new bachelor’s degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence, the role of AI is front and center as students consider their academic journeys and future career paths. Attendees are invited to join an informative, inspiring, and engaging conversation with thought leaders and women who are actively shaping the AI ecosystem and addressing the opportunities and challenges ahead.
The program will feature remarks from President Mark Thompson, followed by Mrs. Karyn Thompson, who will recognize our female-identifying student leaders—the Leading Leopards—who lead clubs, organizations, and athletic teams across campus. A highlight of the morning will be the presentation of the 2026 Woman of the Year Award, honoring a woman who exemplifies exceptional leadership, professional achievement, and a deep commitment to advancing opportunities for women in STEM. This year’s honoree is Sabrina Mansur, Director of the Massachusetts AI Hub, part of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative.
Sabrina Mansur will also join the event’s panel discussion alongside Pam Boiros, Founder of Bridge Marketing Advisors and co-founder of Women Applying AI, a group dedicated to empowering women to use AI at work and in life. Heena Purohit, Director of AI Startups at Microsoft will add her expertise to this discussion by sharing how she helps teams make sense of the AI landscape. Additional panelists will be announced soon, promising a robust and forward-looking conversation on women’s leadership in AI and the future of work.
